San Marino. New party alliances were formed before the parliamentary elections held in October. Victory did the block-crossing alliance San Marino’s general best, consisting of Christian Democratic PDCS, Social Democratic PSD and the small liberal AP. The alliance gained just over half of the vote and its own majority with 35 out of 60 seats. The new government took office in December.
